APPLICATION
Eclipse Biofarmab BioMagnesium contains high bioavailability magnesium in a unique combination of easily absorbable magnesium oxide, magnesium phosphate, and magnesium chelate. The mineral is chelated, meaning it is protein-bound, which is particularly important for rapid biological absorption.

Magnesium is one of the body’s most crucial minerals. It is essential for the proper functioning of numerous enzymes, the maintenance of healthy muscle and nerve functions, and the health of the heart and blood vessels.

Approximately 60% of the body's magnesium is stored in the skeletal structure, playing a pivotal role in bone development and interacting with calcium and phosphorus. The daily loss of magnesium through faeces and urine amounts to about 6 mg per kg of body weight, which must be replenished through the feed.

Magnesium cannot be stored in the body and must be consistently provided through the diet. Studies have shown that both humans and horses frequently suffer from magnesium deficiency.

One possible deficiency symptom in horses is nervousness, characterized by heightened sensitivity and tension. In cases of magnesium deficiency, the body’s ability to manage substances released during stress or fear is impaired, resulting in an increased tendency to react to external stimuli. The growing prevalence of magnesium deficiency today is primarily attributed to soil depletion, but an imbalance in the calcium-to-magnesium ratio in the feed, which ideally should be 5:2, is another possible contributing factor.

Large-sized horse (over 600 kg): 2.5 scoops/day
Mix well in feed.

1 scoop = 10 g provides 2.9 g magnesium.
